Biography;
Renato Marini was born in Larino in Molise in 1955, he has a long career that starts from the 70s; in his career he has been a protagonist in famous international art exhibitions, he was the founder of the cultural center Il Campo which, among other things, collaborated with Christo and Jeanne Claude. Marini's works are present in museums throughout the country. Maurizio Vitiello says about him: with his shrewd and soft drafts he ignites correct, educated attention towards the landscapes of his land and in the descriptive parable of returns he underlines memories and reinvigorates a concrete, stable and, today, comforting love towards his honest roots. His landscapes are to be read in filigree, as well as being a credible decal of
reality. In the reconquest of the landscape he recalls unusual panoramas, peculiar scenarios, perspectives
with abstract visions. The abstract references to the breaths of the earth in the latest production
by Renato Marini we are comforted and stimulated by considerations. Renato Marini's activity was
always interesting and now it proves more and more unique and captivating. The artist who for a long time has entered the soul of abstraction and has created new spatialities, well containing breaths of backgrounds, albeit enclosed in articulated areas, does not forget his territory.
